No claim will be admitted if the above conditions are not scrupulously respected.

Returns

For distance purchases (online and to be received at the address via carrier), Portuguese Law establishes a period of 14 days (commonly known as a cooling-off period) for the consumer after taking physical possession of the goods, during which they can return the item(s) without the need to indicate a reason. In cases of free Contract Termination, the return costs are borne by the consumer, as stipulated in paragraph 2 of article 13 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of 14 February.

There is no article in Portuguese law that contemplates the return of items purchased directly in the physical store, unless the right to information is broken. For example: If the salesperson in the store says that a product has characteristic A and buys the product based on that information, and when he gets home he confirms that he does not have this characteristic, the right to information has been broken. In this case, the customer can return the product.

All products ordered through the Portal, Email or in-store, which are not listed on the website (i.e. which have been ordered specifically by order), are not returnable.

All products returned to Micro Wire must be in perfect condition and carefully packed in their original packages/packages, without any modification of their references and serial numbers.

Returns of products that involve personal hygiene risks such as headphones and others are not accepted.

In the case of repair parts, all items are tested at the exit of the warehouse, before being dispatched, in order to ensure that they are not damaged and are in correct working order (with all adhesives, no marks of use, etc.). So they follow with a guarantee seal on the inner packaging. If this seal is damaged, the consumer loses the right to return, as it is considered a violation of the packaging that can lead to violation/damage to the product itself.

For electronic components (resistors/capacitors/chips, etc.) they are not entitled to return because they are consumables and their correct operation will depend on their correct installation.

The respective labels must be intact so that they can be resold in the future.

Warranty

All items purchased from Micro Wire, either online or at our establishment, are covered by the legal warranty scheme. Before purchasing an asset, keep in mind the following points outlined on this page:

All products sold by Micro Wire are not manufactured by Micro Wire. At the time of sale, Micro Wire issues the respective invoice to the customer, a document that must be duly preserved to guarantee the purchased good.

In addition to the 2-year warranty, some specific products have an extra warranty period. This warranty must be claimed directly from the manufacturer, together with the purchase invoice.

All products purchased less than 15 (fifteen) days ago, defective or damaged will be designated as DOAs. (Dead on Arrival), DOAs are checked for confirmation of failure as soon as they are delivered to Micro Wire’s facility. After confirmation of the fault, Micro Wire, and if it is impossible to repair within 5 (five) days, will proceed with the replacement unless stock is out of stock. In case of stock outage, Micro Wire will inform the customer about the delivery time of the same product or the exchange for another similar product.

On laptops, each manufacturer may only offer a 1-year warranty. Consult us before purchase, to be sure of the warranty period of the battery of the notebook you are looking for;

In cases of RMA, Micro Wire undertakes to do its best to have its product exchanged as soon as possible, bearing in mind that the process does not depend exclusively on the seller (Micro Wire). All products that arrive at our facility for RMA are tested and shipped as soon as possible. From then on, the process becomes the responsibility of manufacturers and suppliers;

In the case of discontinued products, the exchange may be made for a product equivalent to or superior to the one currently on the market, however, this exchange is exclusively the responsibility of the supplier/manufacturer. A credit note may also be made so that the customer can later purchase another item(s) in our store(s); This same credit note will always be valid for 6 months.

The solution for the customer legally will have to be presented within 30 (Thirty) days.

RMA requests are made in the Customer Reserved Area. Failure to comply with the procedures described in this section will result in the return of the product at the Customer’s expense;

Please note that any change to the original product INVALIDATES THE WARRANTY. For example: removal of serial number stickers or other types of warranty labels, tampering caused by VMODS, incorrect installation of heatsinks in graphics cards and memories, processors and motherboards with broken/bent pins, incomplete products, etc. In all these cases the RMA is immediately REFUSED;

Regardless of whether the equipment has a warranty or not, as long as it is received for repair and no fault is detected, or if it has been caused by incorrect use, a fee may be charged to cover logistics costs;

In no event shall Micro Wire be held liable for any partial or total loss of data, programs or software installed in the products delivered for repair;

The deadline for picking up the equipment for repair is 30 days after the registration of the document, otherwise, the material is considered abandoned under the terms of article 1267/1a of the Civil Code, so Micro Wire is no longer responsible for the integrity of the equipment. From the moment it is considered abandoned, the holder is obliged to pay as a penalty clause the sum of 2.5 Euro for each day of delay in the withdrawal. 3 years after the date of the respective document and pursuant to Article 1299 of the Code of Civil Procedure. Civil, the material will become the property of Micro Wire by way of adverse possession. In the event of a debt, Micro Wire has the right to retain all existing material on its premises until it is fully liquidated.
