Introduction

We have done everything possible to make these repair conditions easy to read and understand. In
However, given the particularities of the repair services, they end up being extensive and

We have underlined the conditions that we consider most important to the customer, without
downplay the importance of the other conditions that you should also take into account.
Admission
Whenever possible, all equipment is subject to admission testing before giving
entrance for repair. These tests are used exclusively to detect other possible anomalies

Diagnosis

Diagnostics on Micro Wire are free of charge.

Repair Time

Any repair time provided or advertised is always a prediction based on

time, is not responsible for any damage resulting from non-compliance with the time

Reparation

Sometimes, certain components may be in a state of imminent rupture, which can worsen

Micro Wire is not responsible for minor cosmetic damage caused to the equipment during

Unforeseen

destroyed (e.g. fire), damaged (e.g. peak current) or unusable (e.g. incident during the
Micro Wire undertakes to compensate the customer with one of the following 3 options:
• Repair the damage
• return equipment with the same or higher characteristics, in the same or
superior state of conservation, within a maximum period of 30 days after the occurrence of the
incident.
• indemnify the customer in the expected value (EV) of the equipment, the calculation of which is explained further
below.
Any of the options presented will completely compensate the customer by competing only
to Micro Wire to choose one of the options.
The expected value (EV) of the equipment will be the greater of the following:
EV = Acquisition Value x (1 – (Number of Days since Acquisition Date / (4 x 365))
EV = Acquisition Value x 0.2
In short, the Expected Value of the equipment is reduced by 25% per year up to a minimum of 20%,
both in relation to the acquisition value.
For the calculation given Expected Value, a valid invoice issued by a certified program is required
billing with IMEI or Serial Number of the device. If there is no invoice, it is considered
as acquisition date and acquisition value the first day a model with the same
features was put up for sale to the public and its sale value, respectively.
Micro Wire is not responsible for lost personal data or any other damages
resulting from the occurrence of unforeseen events.

Warranty

In accordance with the legislation in force, all parts placed in the repair services

All services applied to repairs have a 5-year warranty, with exceptions
identified in these Repair Conditions.
The following are not included in the warranty:
• Broken/damaged parts
• Damage caused by liquid infiltration
• Damage caused by drops, shocks, or pressure exerted on the equipment
• Damage caused by misuse of the equipment
• Damage caused by the use of unofficial accessories and not recommended by the brand
of the equipment
• Damage caused by defects that already existed in the equipment prior to repair and that
compromise the correct installation of the new part (e.g., breaded structure, swollen battery,
etc.)
• Screen illegibility with polarized glasses
• Natural wear and tear
• Anomalies that only occur in certain versions of the machine’s operating system
In the case of Batteries, a loss of capacity of up to 1% every 20 is considered a natural wear and tear
complete charge cycles.
The warranty applies only to parts replaced and services performed.

Personal data

Micro Wire will make every effort to ensure that the personal data contained in the equipment is not
are erased or corrupted after the intervention to the equipment. However, they may occur

consultation and copy of personal data of your customers’ equipment, provided that this does not have
has been authorized and is not necessary for proper intervention of the equipment. However, the
Micro Wire is not responsible for any unauthorized access to personal data by
part of your employees.
Survey
The equipment must be picked up by the customer within a maximum period of 90 (ninety) days after the
completion of the repair.
The completion of the Repair is communicated to the customer at the contact details provided at the time of the
equipment admission. If no contact has been provided, or if they are
found to be incorrect, the repair is deemed to have been completed 30 days after the admission of the
equipment.
If the Client does not pick up the equipment during the established period, the
equipment is automatically considered to be abandoned, entering a process of
recycling or destruction.
Micro Wire disclaims any and all responsibility for abandoned equipment.
When picking up their equipment at our facilities, the customer has the

Transport

Whenever you use Micro Wire’s transportation services, you agree that they will be
provided by third parties contracted by Micro Wire.
It is the customer’s responsibility to properly pack the contents and packaging.
Micro Wire contracts a transport insurance from the carrier in the amount of €1000, against damage
caused to the inside of the packaging and loss of objects, for which the responsibility of the
carrier. If the value of the object to be transported is greater than €1000, the compensation will be in the
maximum of €1000. If the customer does not agree, they must send the equipment to Micro Wire
by their own means.
In case of damage caused to the equipment during transport, the customer accepts the conclusion
resulting from the enquiries carried out by the carrier, excluding Micro Wire from any
responsibility. Only the carrier will be able to ascertain whether the damage was actually caused by the
poor transport, if this was due to poor packaging or if the damage was already
would exist before transportation.
In the event of loss of objects, the customer accepts the conclusion resulting from the investigations carried out
by the carrier, excluding Micro Wire from any liability. Only the carrier
will be able to ascertain and control the delivery of the objects, having the appropriate means of control to

For compensation purposes, the carrier needs a document proving the value of the
equipment. If the customer does not have a document proving the value of the equipment, he must
get the equipment to MicroWire by other means.
Micro Wire is not responsible for lost personal data or any other damages

Motherboard Repair

– The warranty of the Motherboard Repair is 6 months.
– Motherboard Repair dependent on diagnosis, which may not be repaired.
– Attempting to repair the motherboard may cause other irreversible damage to the
equipment. Micro Wire is not responsible for this possible data.
– The Motherboard Repair is not possible to be refunded from the moment it is
authorized by the customer and successfully implemented.
– After the Motherboard Repair, other anomalies may be detected in the components that
they were not possible to detect until then. The customer will be informed, and their repair will be
Wait for authorization from the customer. The non-acceptance of these reparations does not make it impossible for the
Repair of the Motherboard which, in the meantime, has already been accepted and successfully implemented.

Ultrasonic Cleaning

– The warranty for Ultrasonic Cleaning is 6 months.
– Ultrasonic Cleaning only provides for the recovery of the Motherboard. There may be others
damaged components that need to be replaced.
– Attempting Ultrasonic Cleaning may cause other irreversible damage to the equipment.
Micro Wire is not responsible for this possible data.
– Ultrasonic Cleaning is not possible to be reimbursed from the moment it is
authorized by the customer and successfully implemented. If ultrasonic cleaning does not restore the
Motherboard, no amount will be charged.
– After Ultrasonic Cleaning of the Motherboard, other anomalies may be detected in the
components that were not possible to detect until then. The customer will be informed, and their
Repair will be awaiting authorization from the customer. The non-acceptance of these reparations
do not preclude Ultrasonic Cleaning, which, in the meantime, has already been accepted and implemented with
success.
– Ultrasonic Cleaning of the Motherboard will derail Apple’s Exchange program.
