How to Join (Step by Step)

Register on Our Website
Create a standard account on our website. Fill in all details accurately, as they will form the basis of your business profile.
Apply from Your Account
Go to your customer account and request an upgrade to a “Reseller Account”, attaching the required documents.
Review and Approval
Our team will review your application. Once your VAT number and documents have been verified, you will receive an email confirming that your B2B tier is active.
Required Documents
When applying for a reseller account, you must submit:
- Sole traders: proof of business registration with the tax authority (or equivalent document).
- Limited companies (Ltd, PLC, etc.): an up-to-date company register extract (or equivalent document).
- Billing address: must match exactly the address shown on your tax documents.
Intra-Community Traders (VIES)
For customers based outside Portugal but within the European Union, Micro Wire offers VAT exemption under the intra-Community supply rules, through a highly automated process.
- Double Validation: your VAT number is checked against the VIES system at registration and also automatically at every checkout, ensuring full legal compliance and instant exemption.
- Locked Billing Details: the billing address and VAT number provided at registration are locked for all future purchases.
- Changes to Tax Details: if you need to change your address or VAT number, the request must be submitted via our contact page or by email to [email protected], and is subject to a new document check.
Tiers and Dynamic Pricing

Please note: tiers are dynamic. You can move up to tiers with higher discounts, but you can also move down a level or be removed if the account is inactive or does not purchase regularly.
Credit Management
Amounts from credit notes (including orders cancelled at the reseller's request) are always credited to your account balance and can be redeemed via coupons on subsequent orders. Direct bank refunds are not issued for B2B accounts.
B2B Account Deadlines and Maintenance
Reseller accounts require ongoing trading activity to keep their benefits active. The following inactivity rules apply:
After Initial Activation (3 Weeks)
Once your B2B account is first activated, you have 3 weeks to place your first order. If you do not, the account loses its benefits. To reactivate it, you will need to make a purchase at the standard retail price.
Annual Renewal (1-Year Cycle)
After your first purchase, reseller status is valid for 1 year. Each new order automatically renews this cycle for another year. If it expires, the account reverts to a standard customer account, and a purchase at the standard retail price is required before reactivation can be requested.
