Is this tray compatible with the iPhone 7 Plus?

No, the dimensions and outer profile differ between models, being exclusive to the iPhone 7.

If the anomaly is caused by a warped drawer that prevents contact, yes; if the damage is in the main board pins, replacing the tray does not solve it — confirm the diagnosis.
