  • Violation of seals or serial numbers.
  • Misuse, poor installation, or VMODS.

Batteries — Warranty Scope

The warranty applicable to batteries — whether for final consumers (B2C) or for professional use (B2B) — exclusively covers manufacturing defects and does not cover natural degradation resulting from normal use. Under the normal wear and tear regime provided for in DL n.º 84/2021, the following situations are excluded from warranty coverage:

Capacity degradation

Capacity loss up to 20% of the nominal value (i.e., maintaining ≥ 80% of the original capacity) is considered normal wear and tear and does not constitute a defect.

Incorrect installation

Damage resulting from incorrect installation, including reversed connections, excessive force, or improper procedures.

Improper use and charging

Overcharging, deep discharging, exposure to extreme temperatures, or use of uncertified chargers.

Note: This clause applies to all customers, regardless of the B2C or B2B framework. The applicable warranty period (3 years B2C; 3 months B2B for repair batteries) remains unchanged, but coverage is in any case limited to manufacturing defects, excluding the normal wear and tear defined herein.

Data Loss: Micro Wire is not responsible for data loss. It is the customer's sole responsibility to perform backups before handing over any equipment.

Micro Wire cannot be held responsible for the failure or delay in fulfilling any contractual obligation when it results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

In the event of force majeure, Micro Wire commits to informing the customer as soon as possible and presenting the available alternatives: an alternative deadline, an equivalent product, or a full refund. The customer's payment obligation is suspended for the duration of the impediment. If the situation persists for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the contract without penalty.
